We had a really awesome day in Zona Ocho, the neighborhood where a man was on the verge of committing suicide when Hector and the Juan Carlos with others from visited him. He came to the afternoon's VBS time. The VBS was held in a large soccer field flatened off on the side of the hilly neighborhood. There were SOOOOO many kids there. They were really happy with the games, coloring, singing, drama, and sharing of God's love for them. The evening outreach was really awesome as well. Many came forward at the end to receive Christ. People the team had met with earlier in the day and others who came to see what was going on. There's many pictures of the day with captions of what went on.
Today we will continue to do similiar ministry, but also there are 3 people from our group who want to be baptized. Pastor Celso is going to bring us to their training camp for the baptism, a place up above the clouds that hang over Lima all winter long. I am looking forward to a precious time of baptism and visiting the church's camp. God bless you all and thank you so much for all your prayers. So far 2 people have gotten sick with the stomach bug. Tricia is already back in service after a day of rest and some cipral. Thank you Jesus for your healing touch! Another member from the Bronx is down today and can use your prayers.

I witnessed God move in this man’s life, I was there when Juan Carlos grabbed his arm and began to weep, as he prayed over him and his home, which was a one room shack, way up in the hill, we almost passed it by, but then God moved. I will never forget this moment in time. I pray for your ministry, and I pray that God will continue to use me to minister to addicts and alcoholics.
