Today, (Wednesday) we went to a downtown market so we could invite people to our church services. We broke up into gruops and went off on our ways. At some point I ended up along with Pastor Moises. Pastor Moises is very bold for the Lord and has a big heart for people. The pastors here who we are working with often do open-air preaching in the markets and even preach while riding the city buses! This was a new experience for me, as well as not being totally used to this praying out loud in crowded areas thing! Pastor Moises and i went to many stores, crowded restaurants, down winding alley ways, and jewelery stores that were deep within the market. At each place we went, we gave them an invitation to church and Pastor Moises would ask the clerk if I could pray for them. The people of Peru are very open to prayer and I found myself in the midst of crowds and in the middle of busy restaurants praying outloud for these people. Each place we went, Pastor Moises wrote the names of the people we prayed for onto the palm of his hand. Later when we were walking back to join the others, Pastor Moises showed me his palms and told me that later he would go back and visit again with each of these people! It has already been such an amazing experience to see God´s love in action and to be working with people who are so dedicated and filled with God´s love!

Wow, Tiffany! It sounds like you are getting out of your comfort zone. I know that when you get back to the states will you continue to practice praying like that in the Atlanta area. I miss you! Stay safe!
