The team arrived in Peru today, exhausted, hungry, excited, and expectant for the week ahead! One baggage short and a few delayed flights, but happy and healthy. Tomorrow we head down the Amazon River to begin visiting the children in the villages. My whole life I have prayed for the opportunity to see this river and meet those who make their home there! It almost feels surreal that God has seen fit to make this dream come to pass this week. Hearing the team work together to plan for tomorrow, and to see the unique passions and skills each person brings to this group, gives me such a peace and assurance about our time and purpose here in Peru. Keep us in your prayers as we step into this week!
